Birdie Wine Decanter
By Holcomb Studio — Designed in Seattle, WA
---

Elevate the ritual of wine with the Birdie Wine Decanter—a sculptural, hand-blown glass vessel crowned by a polished stainless-steel aerating sphere inspired by the graceful arc of a badminton birdie. As wine cascades over the sphere, it spreads into a thin, shimmering veil, maximizing air contact to unlock aroma and flavor in seconds. The decanter rests on a minimalist ash-wood trivet with a removable stainless-steel coaster, protecting surfaces while keeping the presentation clean and intentional.

Materials: Hand-blown glass - Polished 304 stainless steel - Solid ash wood
Capacity: 69.3 fl oz total / ~61 fl oz functional (holds ~2.4 standard bottles)
Dimensions: 9.2″ W × 8.1″ H
Weight: 2.8 lb
Care: Aerator & coaster — top-rack dishwasher safe | Glass & wood — hand wash only
Origin: Designed in Seattle, WA - Made in China
Includes: Decanter, aerating sphere, stainless coaster, ash trivet, premium gift box

Why the Birdie Decanter
Aeration as Theater
Traditional decanting relies on passive air exposure. The Birdie’s stainless-steel sphere transforms that wait into a visual moment: wine spirals down the dome, thinning into a high-surface-area sheet that pulls oxygen in instantly. The result—brighter aromatics, softened tannins, opened-up fruit—arrives in the time it takes to pour.

Designed for the Pour
• Tapered lip → clean, drip-free service
• Generous base → wine continues breathing while it waits
• Removable aerator & coaster → sphere lifts off cleanly, parks on its own stainless coaster; no drips on the table

Materials That Last
• Hand-blown borosilicate glass — each vessel carries the subtle variation of artisan glassblowing
• Polished 304 stainless steel — mirror finish, corrosion-resistant, dishwasher-safe
• Solid ash trivet — tight grain, warm tone, natural resistance to moisture and heat

Thoughtful Gifting
Ships in a premium matte-textured gift box. A frequent best-seller at Holcomb Studio and featured at Food52, Milk Street, and specialty kitchen retailers nationwide.

How to Use
1. Place the stainless-steel aerator into the neck of the decanter.
2. Pour wine through the sphere. It cascades down, aerates instantly, and pools in the base.
3. Rest the aerator on the included metal coaster (which nests in the ash trivet).
4. Serve directly from the decanter—tapered lip gives you control, generous base keeps wine alive.
5. Optional: Let wine sit 10–15 minutes for deeper aeration; the broad base maintains high oxygen contact.

Craft & Comfort

Woven warmth, made to linger.

Handwoven from 100% wool on a traditional pedal loom, the Nieve Throw celebrates the beauty of natural fiber and time-honored textile making. Its creamy neutral palette, tactile weave, and hand-finished fringe lend warmth and dimension to a space—an enduring layer designed for slow mornings, lived-in rooms, and everyday comfort.

Meso positions its work around original design, handcrafted products, sustainable sourcing, and a contemporary interpretation of cultural craft; the second version reflects that voice without making sustainability claims that are too specific to this individual throw.
